Mark Bogetich

Mark Bogetich is one of the nation's preeminent public policy and political vulnerability researchers. For more than 15 years, he has been a lead research strategist on gubernatorial and United States Senate campaigns throughout the country.

Bogetich's clients have also included a host of statewide, legislative and Congressional candidates, initiative campaigns, trade associations and private business interests. With his political background, knowledge of public policy issues and experience looking at the inner workings of government, Bogetich is a must call for investigative reporters. His ability to generate news coverage has been an invaluable tool for a wide range of clients in pursuit of their public policy objectives.

Two of California's most prominent newspapers, the San Jose Mercury News and the Los Angeles Times, have written feature articles about Bogetich, who is described as "the only game in town" for researchers in California and as "hav[ing] arguably done more than any other political operative in California to shape voters' views of the [2002 gubernatorial election]."

Bogetich also has ten years of experience providing communications strategy, media relations and public affairs consulting services to clients in the insurance and financial industries. He was formerly a partner in CommandFocus LLC, a Sacramento-based communications strategy firm that helped clients develop effective messages and design winning media campaigns.

In addition to serving as a founding member of BGK Strategies LLC, Bogetich owns and operates MB Public Affairs, Inc., a campaign oriented company that provides opposition/vulnerability research consulting services to political candidates and elected officials across the country. Bogetich has a BA in political science and a BA in history from the UC Irvine and an MS in foreign service from Georgetown University.
